Why a building website

One place for every question residents ask.

Most of what a building manager answers each week has the same answer every time: bin days, move-in rules, parking, keys, who to call after hours. Without a website, those answers live in inboxes, group chats and notices taped inside the lift.

An owners corporation website puts them in one place residents can reach at any hour, with forms that send each request to the right person and a library for the documents owners and agents keep asking for.

It is set up in the owners corporation’s name, so it stays with the building if the manager or committee changes, and it is built so your manager or a committee member can update notices and documents without calling a developer.

Common questions

What people ask before they start.

Anything not covered here, send it through and we will answer it properly.

How much does an owners corporation website cost?

A building website starts from $2,500, and a care plan that keeps it secure and up to date starts from $179 a month. Every project is quoted in writing against a fixed scope that can be tabled at a committee meeting. Prices exclude GST.

Does a smaller building need a website?

Smaller buildings often benefit most, because the manager or a committee volunteer answers every question personally. Even a few pages of rules, contacts and request forms saves hours each month.

Who owns the website?

The owners corporation. The domain, hosting and content are set up in the owners corporation’s name, so the site stays with the building if the manager or committee ever changes.

Can our building manager update it?

Yes. Notices, documents and pages are editable by your manager or a committee member, and every build ends with training. On a care plan, we make monthly updates for you.

Can private documents be kept off the public site?

Yes. Public information stays public for residents, agents and trades, while minutes, financial documents and committee material sit behind a login.

How long does it take to build?

Most building websites go live within a few weeks of committee approval, depending on how quickly the rules, documents and building information come through.

Does it replace our strata management software?

No. Levies, accounts and records stay in your manager’s system. The website handles what residents need day to day and links through to the manager’s owner portal where there is one.

Can you take over our existing building website?

Usually. We start with a free audit of the current site, its forms and hosting, then tell you plainly whether it is worth repairing or rebuilding.

See what your building’s website is missing.

Send us the current site, or tell us there is not one. We will send back a plain-English report the committee can read, with the fixes ranked by what matters most.
