Case study · Strata
150 Peel Street, North Melbourne.
A residential owners corporation website, rebuilt to do the daily work of running the building. Resident information, rules, request forms, a lot owner login and contractor check-in in one place — and looked after every month since.

The brief
A building website that had stopped doing its job.
The building already had a website, but years of small changes had left its resident forms with faults, so requests were not reliably reaching the people who needed them. Information residents asked about every week was there, but hard to find, and there was no record of which trades were on site.
The owners corporation needed the site to take work off the building manager, not add to it — and to stay that way, rather than slowly breaking again.
What we built
Six pieces that run the building day to day.
Each one replaces an email, a phone call or a sheet of paper.
150 Peel Street
Residential owners corporation, North Melbourne.
- 01
Thirteen request forms, rebuilt
Every resident form — contact, moving in and out, deliveries, tradesman entry, noise complaints and CCTV requests for police — rebuilt from scratch and tested end to end, so each submission reliably reaches the building manager.
- 02
Contractor QR check-in and check-out
Trades scan a QR code on arrival and departure. The building has a record of who was on site, when, and for which job, without a sign-in book at the door.
- 03
Lot owner login
The owner sign-in was redesigned so lot owners can get to the private side of the site quickly, with information that should not be public kept behind it.
- 04
Resident information that answers the questions
Moving in and out, keys and fobs, parking, waste and recycling, insurance and a new-residents checklist, written to be found without emailing anyone.
- 05
AGM reporting
A 13-page AGM chairman’s report designed for the committee, with charts, a financial snapshot and a 10-year maintenance plan.
- 06
Monthly care
Updates, backups and security checks every month, with an update and security report sent to the owners corporation at the end of each care period.
For your building
The same approach, for any owners corporation.
Building websites start from $2,500 and resident portals from $7,500, quoted in writing for committee approval. Every one starts with a free audit of what the building has now.
